Men and women live and participate in gender-specific homes, with programming led by clinicians who understand the unique challenges each group faces. This approach fosters safety, comfort, and more effective healing.

Addiction

We treat alcohol use disorder (AUD), opioid use disorder (OUD), and other forms of SUD. Our residential and intensive outpatient program (IOP) uses medication-assisted treatment (MAT), psychotherapy, psychiatric support, family therapy, peer support, and other evidence-based therapies to treat the root causes of addiction.

Mental Health

Our programs treat co-occurring mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar disorder (BD). Clinicians use a combination of evidence-based and holistic therapeutic modalities to address mental health issues during rehabilitation.

Dual Diagnosis

We can connect clients to skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pain management for addressing more complex co-occurring conditions. Our care team treats dual diagnosis involving one or more mental health disorders and offers referrals to outside support for other chronic medical conditions.

Dual diagnosis often requires ongoing support. New Found Life offers alumni support services and continuing care to ensure clients with co-occurring mental health disorders continue to receive guidance and assistance overcoming challenges during early recovery from SUD.

Levels of Care & Treatment Programs Available

New Found Life offers multiple levels of care, including residential, IOP, outpatient, and sober living programs. We believe a consistent step-down process and integrative care improve treatment outcomes and reduce stress associated with addiction recovery.

Coordinated Detox and Drug Detox Support

We do not offer detoxification services on-site. Our addiction recovery experts offer detox facilitation and coordination. Clients transfer from outside medical detox services to our inpatient or outpatient rehab programs. We can coordinate the entire process from intake to the step-down from detox to our programs for individuals or families entering rehabilitation.

Residential or Long-Term Care

Our residential treatment program gives people a safe and welcoming space to heal from the effects of substance use. Most people spend 90 days in inpatient care; however, our personalized care plans allow us to extend or shorten lengths of stay as needed to meet each client’s needs. We use psychotherapy, MAT, family therapy, holistic therapies, and peer support.

IOP

Our intensive outpatient program offers greater flexibility than residential treatment and allows clients to return home at night and on weekends while still participating in treatment sessions throughout the week. IOP provides structure, accountability, and motivation for people in early recovery.

Outpatient Treatment and PHP

We connect clients who may benefit from more comprehensive care to outside PHP programs that provide extended treatment hours throughout the week. Our programs also include outpatient care that involves fewer treatment sessions and community-based support to prepare clients for the transition to aftercare.

Aftercare Services and Alumni Support

Our clinical team uses psychoeducation, relapse prevention, and tailored aftercare planning to prepare clients for lasting sobriety. We give people the tools and resources they need to build healthy routines for maintaining long-term recovery.

After completing our care programs, alumni continue to have access to a wide range of support services. We also check in regularly with alumni for several months after they complete treatment to ensure they have the support they need to overcome any unexpected challenges or stressors during ongoing recovery. Alumni and their loved ones have access to our support groups, workshops, and community events. We also encourage alumni to volunteer with our current clients if they want to give back by monitoring others seeking sobriety.

When to Seek Help from a Rehab Center

You should seek help for yourself or a loved one if you notice alcohol or drug use causing any form of emotional distress, physical dependence, or addictive behaviors.

People with a history of relapse or previous unsuccessful treatment attempts may benefit from higher levels of care, such as our residential treatment program. Anyone struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues can get the help they need to achieve sobriety at New Found Life.

Signs of Addiction or Mental Health Issues

Some of the most common warning signs of alcohol or drug addiction include requiring more of the substance to achieve the desired effect, experiencing withdrawal symptoms during periods of abstinence, an inability to stop abusing the substance despite repeated attempts or a strong desire to, and continuing to use the substance even after experiencing severe consequences.

Mental health disorders have various potential warning signs depending on the type of condition, severity of symptoms, and presence of any other co-occurring conditions. Anxiety, depressive episodes, difficulty focusing, extreme mood swings, paranoia, panic episodes, and panic attacks are a few common signs that a person may have a mental health disorder. We use comprehensive assessments and screening tools to determine if clients have a dual diagnosis. Our programs also address co-occurring medical issues, such as chronic pain, during the recovery process.

Treatment Features for Long-Term Recovery

Our treatment programs provide people with the tools they need to maintain long-term recovery. We help clients heal and build a foundation by offering a range of treatment features, including family therapy and support groups, sober living options, 12-Step immersion, and alumni services.

Family Groups

Close friends and family members may have trauma associated with their loved one’s substance abuse. We offer family groups where family members can learn about addiction, receive emotional support and practical guidance, share their story with others who have similar life experiences, and seek guidance for overcoming challenges or strengthening relationships. Family group sessions give people greater insight into their loved one’s condition and how best to support their recovery.

Sober Living Options

Some people need additional structure, accountability, and support after completing our inpatient or outpatient programs. New Found Life has sober living options for people who do not want to immediately return to their homes due to concerns about relapse or a lack of a support system. The sober living communities are gender-specific to create a safe and comfortable environment for continued healing. Sober living homes give people extra time to develop and practice coping skills, learn to set boundaries and build healthy social connections, and create new routines to support lasting sobriety. The gender-specific housing improves treatment outcomes and allows staff members to focus on providing personalized care.

AA and other 12-Step groups also give people a consistent space to seek support, guidance, accountability, and motivation during ongoing recovery.
