At New Found Life, we have designed our Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals 18 years and older seeking assessment and primary treatment services for substance abuse. Clients enrolled in this program participate in treatment for three to five days per week, up to three hours per day.
Treatment at this level allows individuals to continue to work or attend school while they continue the healing process. Clients live at home or in a sober living facility and travel to the New Found Life campus in Long Beach, California, where they participate in treatment Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon or from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Pending medical and clinical assessment, we may recommend Intensive Outpatient for individuals who:
- Do not require medically supervised detoxification
- Live within a reasonable driving distance from the New Found Life campus
- Have completed a residential treatment or partial hospitalization program and are looking for additional support in their early recovery
Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers the same program components as Residential Program – including individual and group therapy sessions, educational and life skills groups – with less frequency.
