Primary and Extended Care- New Found Life
offers both primary and extended care at its main facility. For program details
please review our Program Outline and
Program Schedule pages.
Residential Continuing Care (Footsteps)-
The
Footsteps Program was created to provide a unique service for residents of New
Found Life needing a more extended, but less intensive level of active
treatment. This program is intended to fill a gap between primary/extended
residential treatment and living in a sober living environment or returning
home. The goal for our residents at Footsteps is to continue to cultivate the
tools and skills that will allow them to develop a healthy, sober lifestyle.
Services are provided in a supervised home like atmosphere promoting
stabilization and reintegration into the community by addressing relapse
prevention, budgeting issues, emotional coping skills and life skills and
continuing New Found Life’s strong focus on a twelve step program.
Residents are invited to live in our continuing care apartments, which are
located close to the main center. Here residents can return to work or attend
school. They may return to the center on a daily basis to participate in groups,
visit with their counselor, dine with the residents, be of service to newcomers,
and join in any activities.
